D\u00e8s notre plus jeune \u00e2ge, nous avons besoin de cette vitamine. Le soleil est la source principal de la vitamine D. En hiver, il est important de pallier l&rsquo;absence du soleil par l&rsquo;alimentation.<\/p>\n<p>Une des fonctions principales de cette hormone est son intervention dans le processus qui permet de fixer le calcium et le phosphore n\u00e9cessaire \u00e0 la croissance et \u00e0 la r\u00e9sistance des os, du cartilage et des dents. Elle existe sous deux formes : la D2, ergocalcif\u00e9rol, et la D3, chol\u00e9calcif\u00e9rol.<\/p>\n<p>La vitamine D agit \u00e9galement sur la bonne transmission nerveuse, la r\u00e9gulation des hormones, le renforcement du syst\u00e8me immunitaire, la r\u00e9duction des risques de fractures et d&rsquo;ost\u00e9oporose. En effet, une exposition \u00e0 ses rayons permet de couvrir 80% \u00e0 90% des besoins. Ainsi, il est recommand\u00e9 de s&rsquo;exposer au soleil environ 15 minutes par jour. Les peaux fonc\u00e9es doivent s&rsquo;exposer plus longtemps que les peaux claires pour absorber la m\u00eame quantit\u00e9 de vitamine D car la pigmentation de la peau ralentit la fabrication.<\/p><p>Les mains, le visage et les avant-bras sont les zones qui permettent une synth\u00e8se optimale de la vitamine D. Pour ne pas souffrir de br\u00fblures ou avoir des dommages cutan\u00e9s, il es conseill\u00e9 de s&rsquo;exposer aux premiers rayons de la matin\u00e9e ou ceux en fin de journ\u00e9e.<\/p><p>En hiver, quand le soleil se fait moins pr\u00e9sent, il est n\u00e9cessaire de trouver d&rsquo;autres apports. L&rsquo;alimentation est une bonne alternative.
